A Pep-talk

You know those days when you just can't shake a feeling. It kind of grows inside of you, creeping into every corner, until you can't step outside of it. One thing goes awry and you just can't seem to pull yourself out of the funk it leaves you in.
Today is one of those days.
I'm lying in bed pouting, yet with the complete understanding that some don't even have a bed to lay in. I feel guilty for even being consumed by a problem that for many could never be a problem in the first place.
So I guess what I'm going to do is have a cup of tea, because that sign up there is telling me to, and get over it. Sometimes a heavy dose of perspective is just what I need, and I think it's too clear that today is one of those times.
Thanks for putting up with this self-prescribed pep-talk, and I'm sorry if this seemed like the crazed-ramblings of a frustrated blogger.

Tea: the cure for all bad things.

I hope you perk up! You could always switch to beer if the tea's not cutting it. ;)

Sometimes it's important to recognize and validate our feelings even if they seem stupid or not important in a really messed up world. I think it's okay to feel sad and helpless every now and then, and certainly don't be silent about it. There are people there for you, chin up :)
