An End to an Era

Okay that might be a little dramatic... but it is still the end.

The end of what, you ask?

The end of my sponsorship.
See that was me before I started sponsoring. I look happy don't I? I won't show you the after picture.

Yea, I know, THAT was short lived. But I definitely discovered that it was just not for me. Mostly because the work involved in sponsoring. I mean I have a job, I don't want a second one that doesn't even pay. *Unless you guys are willing to foot the bill- yea I didn't think so*

Nope I'm keeping my blog as my happy place. Also, I was getting kind of terrified of my email account. I did everything I could to avoid clicking that gmail button. I mean I've felt that way before when I've had a lot of comments to respond to, but this time it was different. Every time I looked at the gmail logo it had a glowing evil light pulsing around it. It was about that time when I decided to reconsider sponsoring.

Hear me out blogland. I have loved having some pretty cool people up on my sidebar. It was like my entourage. But my entourage has gotten too hard to maintain, so I'm becoming a hermit. Or like a blog hermit... something like that.

My sidebar will now be a place to find my most favorite of blog people. I'm excited about that.

I think it's awesome that you want to keep A Crooked Trail your happy place. No complaints here. Just do what you gotta do. :)

I've always been in two minds about sponsoring on my blog. I doubt I'll do it. I completely agree with the idea of keeping your blog all about you and sharing things with people that reflect your own self. x

I just started doing sponsorship also, and it's way more work then I thought it would be. I find myself on my computer WAY TOO MUCH! Thanks a lot for having me in July though. I am glad I found your blog and it's not going to change the way I view you in anyway. Blogging is always supposed to be FUN FIRST. :)
