They're Alive!

The garden is starting to grow into all of it's little vegetable glory. Gosh, they grow up so fast don't they? It seems like yesterday that they were just little seeds.
Our pole beans are growing like, well, poles. Go figure. But seriously we can barely keep up with them. The squash aren't far behind. Honestly everything is coming in pretty well except our peppers. You win some, you loose some.
Our little cucumbers are getting ready to climb. Is it weird that I encourage them? Our plants are going to have some serious self-confidence.
Right after we planted our seeds it rained. And not the good kind of rain. It rained hard...for an eternity. At least it felt like an eternity; I was worried about my babies. But our little plants dug their roots in and shook their little leaf-fists at the sky, and now they're growing and growing fast.
Fresh produce here we come!

That's so exciting! Congratulations! I love all your little devices to allow the plants to climb up, such a great idea!

Wait, this wasn't yesterday? It was.

My how your garden grows.

I would have killed it already. Probably within 15 minutes.

Haha! I love your little babies!! :) encouragement is everything! This isn't REALLY a plant story, but I thought it would fit:
My friends mom wanted to prove a point about negativity. So she filled two jars with rice. Dry rice. She put one in the kitchen where her family is usually happy (food, go figure) and one in the hallway where all of the fights happen. After about a month the one in the kitchen was still bright white and looking good. The one in the hallway was disgusting and moldy and shriveled. This may have had something to do with the lighting or whatever, but I think the vibes they were surrounded by made a big difference! Hahaha!

Look at these photos makes me wonder what the heck I'm doing wrong in my garden. Well, not question. Actually I know what I did wrong. I planted to early and frost kicked the crap out of my seeds. Womp womp.

I'll be doing some frantic replanting this week. I hope after that my garden will look just as lush and beautiful as yours!

Keep up the good work and the positive encouragement. I'm sure the plants are totally digging it.
