Do you remember me telling you how awesome my mom is? Well this past weekend she bought me my first sewing machine. Mom seriously rocks! When I was younger I loved to sew and I used to use her sewing machine that her mom bought her. Once I left the house I never bought one and I kind of fell out of it. But, I've always wanted to make my own clothes and I love homemade and refurbished furniture.
Basically, my life is about to change. Especially since I have 1 week left of school. 1 week! Can I get a hallelujah! So what I'm trying to say is that this summer will be full of homemade goodies! I cannot wait!

That machine looks really nice! I wish I knew how to use it though, I only know how to sew by hand!

That's awesome! Brand new sewing machines are the best. No rattly parts needing to be fixed or oil needing to be changed. How exciting. I hope you share photos of your creations in the future! :)
"Sew" sweet of her!! Ok, I'm finished being a geek. My mom did the same for me! Only problem is, I'm still trying to figure out how to sew. Ahh, I love refinishing furniture also!! One week? Congrats!!!
