You see what I did there? Maybe you don't. There's an actual place called the Hike Inn.
Now you get it? Good.
Can I tell you about this amazing and beautiful place hidden in the magical mountains of Georgia? It's a lodge you can only hike into. Yea that's right. Hike only.
My mom and I hiked to this Heaven. Jealous? Yea, I know. We frolicked through the forest and came upon this. It opened up through the trees, I saw a glow around the lodge, and I'm pretty sure angels sang.
The lodge is supposed to be eco-friendly. So one of the things they do is reuse mugs- everyone has to put their name on their mugs. They have family style dinners and breakfasts AND there are no electronics allowed. That means people actually have to talk. *GASP* Yes... they must talk.
I know what you're thinking: girl, you say whaaa??
But it was awe-to the-some. And it felt so good to hike that I just wanted to keep going on the Approach trail, hit the AT, and hike to Maine. My job wouldn't mind right?
Oh and one more thing... they had hummingbirds. Mind=blown. You're welcome.
